A Lazy Day on Sunday

Today was a lazy day for us after three weeks of running around. It was grey and rainy for most of the day.

We started the day by getting up late. We then set off for a late breakfast. However, after walking around the area for a while we discovered that everyone else sleeps late on Sundays -- even later than we did. Most places, restaurants included, do not open up until noon or so. We eventually found a little place that served yummy pasteries that we had with our latte and cappuccino.

We then walked around some more stopping in several little shops around Trinity College. We eventually made it to the National Museum - Archeology. It was Chris's first chance to visit it. She was particularly interested in the "bog bodies" exhibit and Viking displays.

After a couple hours at the Museum, we headed off for an early dinner. Afterwards, we walked to a local shopping center for a few things and then back to the hotel.

Like I said above, it was a lazy day and we didn't even take any photos. But stay tuned because we will have more soon.

Finally, so as to not send you away empty handed and for those of you who really like tradtional Irish music, here is a fiddle tune by Dermi Diamond from the "Tunes in the Church" from two nights ago:

🎻🎼⛪️  Enjoy.  ☘
