On to Dublin

On the road again ...  Two weeks of fun on the west coast of Ireland and now on to the next step, Trinity College Dublin for two weeks.

It was a 4 hour ride from Kinsale to Cork to Dublin. We had a couple of hours lay-over in Cork and had time for a a quick trip to the English Market

And a coffee (my first Starbucks since we left home):

It also was the first time we really experienced the rain and grey skies that Ireland is known for...

A few thoughts so far:🤔
Music - We're really enjoying the music in the pubs! For trad music...can't beat Annascaul but it's all been fun.🎻

Trump - No exaggeration, honestly, at least once a day a local shopkeeper, barkeep, whoever---asks us about Trump. They hate him and ask how he made it this far.

Food - Ah yes, the famous spud. Potatoes are served with EVERYTHING...whew. The seafood chowder is fabulous. The yogurt/scone breakfasts are yummy. And the beer is the best☘ and there's more to life than Guinness although it is the local favorite.

People - The local people are lovely, easy to laugh, happy to chat about things.

That's it for now. Today (Saturday) we will do some exploring around Dublin.

Stay tuned.
